Troop J, York Station of the Pennsylvania State Police, responded to an ATM alarm at Truist Bank at 16576 Susquehanna Trail S on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, at approximately 1:51 a.m., authorities announced.

Troopers arrived at the scene and discovered that the ATM had been stolen. Nearby, they found a skid loader left behind. Through the investigation conducted by the York Patrol Unit, it was determined that unknown suspects had stolen an older model white Ford F-450 and a skid loader with a trailer from a nearby maintenance shop. The suspects then used the skid loader to dislodge the ATM and loaded it onto a tow-behind utility trailer attached to the Ford F-450 before fleeing the scene.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact PSP York Station at 717-428-1011.
